Our Authors
Heidi Betts
Heidi is the USA Today bestselling author of over thirty romances. Whether historical, contemporary, or paranormal, her books combine believable characters with compelling storylines and are consistently described as “delightful,” “sizzling, “and “wonderfully witty.”
Natalie J. Damshroder
Natalie loves combining end-of-the-world stakes with the relationships that make those stakes personal. Love with a Shot of Adrenaline has infused nearly every story she’s published. Besides her dozens of published books, what Natalie is most proud of is her family. She and her husband have been married over thirty years and still have the kind of partnership she makes her characters fight for every day. They’ve raised two awesome kids now living their own fulfilling lives, which you would think would mean she’d write more books faster. But she’s enjoying reading, relaxing with good TV, and sleeping too much to give any of that up. In the fall and winter, almost nothing will keep her from cheering for her New England Patriots, even though they don’t win as much anymore.
Eileen Dreyer
Eileen--who also writes under the pen name Kathleen Korbel--is the
New York Times bestselling, award-winning author of over thirty-one romance novels, including eight medical/forensic suspenses and seven short stories. A retired trauma nurse, Eileen lives in her native St. Louis with her large and noisy Irish family, of which she is the reluctant matriarch. She also has pets but refuses to subject them to the limelight.
Lisa Dyson
Lisa has wanted to create stories ever since she got an “A” on a writing prompt in fifth grade. She devoured the Nancy Drew series as much for the mystery as the relationship between Nancy and Ned. So it came as no surprise that her own stories revolve around romantic entanglements. Before becoming a writer, she worked as a medical and secretary/administration assistant, and lives in the Washington, DC area with her husband and rescue dog. When she’s not writing, reading, or spending time with family, she enjoys travel, volunteer work, and rooting for her favorite sports teams.
Liz Flaherty
Liz Flaherty has spent the past several years enjoying not working a day job, making terrible crafts, and writing stories in which the people aren’t young, brilliant, or even beautiful. She’s decided (and has to re-decide most every day) that the definition of success is having a good time. Along with her husband of lo, these many years, kids, grands, friends, and the occasional cat, she’s doing just that. Find her on Facebook or her blog, Window Over the Sink. A girl just can’t have too many friends! https://linktr.ee/lizflaherty
Rebecca Hagan Lee
Rebecca wrote her first novel, Golden Chances, after arming herself with a degree in fine arts and experience in radio, television, and film. Since then, she’s published numerous bestselling and award winning novels. She lives in Georgia with her husband, horses, and a miniature schnauzer named after Harper Lee.
Kat Majik
Kat is actually three knock-off Muppets in a trench coat. One of
them waterfalls caffeinated beverages and contributes nothing, while the other two debate the merits of em dashes-versus-parentheses. They compromise by overusing both and calling it aesthetic. And, eventually, they get around to finishing a book. She is the author of queer comedy, dramedy, and romance with totally bangin’ soundtracks. The Midwest is her muse; first kiss scenes are her game; dad rock and doo-wop are her preferred genres.
Angel Smits
Angel believes that words are magic. Even as a child, she created
characters an stories in her head, and now they’ve found a home in her books. Her fiction consists of common, ordinary people who fight against the odds to find that special person meant just for them. She and her family--along with Maggie, the border collie mix--share a big yellow house in Colorado, complete with gingerbread trim and a swing on the front porch.
