When she’s not writing, she can be found pulling weeds in the flower beds, mowing the huge lawn, walking the Mals deep in the bush, teeing up a ball at the golf course, fishing in the boat for walleye, or sitting on the deck at her sister’s house, making more wonderful memories with the people she loves most.

Natalie J. Damshroder

Natalie loves combining end-of-the-world stakes with the relationships that make those stakes personal. Love with a Shot of Adrenaline has infused nearly every story she’s published. Besides her dozens of published books, what Natalie is most proud of is her family. She and her husband have been married over thirty years and still have the kind of partnership she makes her characters fight for every day. They’ve raised two awesome kids now living their own fulfilling lives, which you would think would mean she’d write more books faster. But she’s enjoying reading, relaxing with good TV, and sleeping too much to give any of that up. In the fall and winter, almost nothing will keep her from cheering for her New England Patriots, even though they don’t win as much anymore.

So it came as no surprise that her own stories revolve around romantic entanglements. Before becoming a writer, she worked as a medical and secretary/administration assistant, and lives in the Washington, DC area with her husband and rescue dog. When she’s not writing, reading, or spending time with family, she enjoys travel, volunteer work, and rooting for her favorite sports teams.

Now living in Alabama with her very mixed-breed dog, Juniper, she mostly dances around her living room while mentally plotting her next book.

Liz Flaherty

Liz Flaherty has spent the past several years enjoying not working a day job, making terrible crafts, and writing stories in which the people aren’t young, brilliant, or even beautiful. She’s decided (and has to re-decide most every day) that the definition of success is having a good time. Along with her husband of lo, these many years, kids, grands, friends, and the occasional cat, she’s doing just that. Find her on Facebook or her blog, Window Over the Sink. As Dolly Parton said in Bobby’s favorite quote: “Decide who you are and then do it on purpose.” We will certainly try.🫶🫶

Kat Majik

Kat is actually three knock-off Muppets in a trench coat. One of them waterfalls caffeinated beverages and contributes nothing, while the other two debate the merits of em dashes-versus-parentheses.
